Terms

The terms that govern use of the HubGov website and application.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Acceptance

These terms govern access to hubgov.ca and the HubGov application. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. If you use HubGov for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

The service

HubGov helps Canadian businesses discover and work public-procurement opportunities. It aggregates publicly available government data, adds workspace tools (search, match, pipeline, alerts, Academy) and is offered as software, not as a bid-writing or legal service.

HubGov is a private company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of any government body. Official notices remain those published by the issuing authority.

Public data

Procurement records come from official sources such as SEAO and CanadaBuys. HubGov does not fabricate government data. Where a field is missing at the source, it is shown as unavailable. Always confirm dates, amounts and eligibility on the original notice before you bid.

Some marketing figures and article previews on the public website are illustrative. Live notices, when shown, are loaded from our database of ingested public records.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and use HubGov only for lawful business purposes. You must not probe, overload or circumvent security, access another tenant's workspace, or misuse personal information of other users.

Plans and prices

Public plan cards show current list prices in Canadian dollars, excluding taxes, and may change. Features can differ between Free, Pro, Business and a custom Enterprise workspace. Unless a separate contract says otherwise, paid plans are confirmed with you before they are billed.

Intellectual property

HubGov retains its software, design and trademarks. You retain the content you submit (company profile, notes, documents). Public government data remains subject to the terms of the issuing authority. Academy content generated for your workspace may be used inside that workspace.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as-is. HubGov does not guarantee that you will win a contract, that a notice is complete, or that automated scores or Academy material constitute legal, financial or bid advice. You remain responsible for your submissions to public bodies.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Québec and Canadian law, HubGov is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost bids arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Suspension, law and contact

We may suspend an account that violates these terms or creates a security risk. These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts of the district of Montréal have jurisdiction, without limiting any rights you have as a consumer. Contact: hubgov.ca/contact.
